Announcement
The International Alliance for Women in Music established a new annual award and recognition program to honor and endorse those performers who have made deliberate, conscious efforts to achieve greater gender equity in their programming by including women composers and/or performers. Soloists, chamber ensembles, and arts organizations may apply for these awards.
- One $300 award for either a soloist, chamber, or large ensemble.
- One $100 award for runner up for either a soloist, chamber, or large ensemble.
The IAWM may designate certain performers as honorees (with no financial award).
Applicants must submit their materials on New Music Engine by October 29, 2023.
