Sheli Nan

Sheli Nan composes music that defies boundaries. Her Baroque and Classical training coupled with having lived all over the world produce a unique sound; a 21st century harmony. Giving credit to earlier musical iterations what she composes is fresh, invigorating, accessible and moving. Her music is performed locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. She composes from solo harpsichord and piano up to duos, tríos and quartets for strings, clarinets, bassoons, trombones and saxophones. She has many chamber music pieces and orchestral music. Her choral music encompasses opera, (and librettos) Oratorios and Requiems. She has 12 CDs of music on Spotify and has over 100 published pieces in the ASCAP repertory and 3 publishers. Sheli has received an award from The American Prize four times and during this fraught year has composed many new solo and chamber pieces. For more information please go to: shelinan.com
